Birthday Slideshow

Are you looking for a special birthday gift for your husband or wife? For many, the task of buying a gift each year is easy. But how do you go about buying for those that are hard to buy for? I think I can give you some help with that question.

My own husband has his birthday on December 22, and as you can imagine, we are s-o-o-o busy at that time of the year. Most of the time, he’s lucky if he gets a birthday card and all the kids call to say “happy birthday!” Then we get on with getting ready for Christmas.

Two years ago, I decided to make a slideshow for him. It was a lot of fun to dig up information and happenings from the year he was born, including the songs that were popular, and I already had all the old pictures from his family.

There were actually quite a few pictures of him through the years. The first ones used were baby and childhood, through his army years, marriage, children, and retirement. The last were of his activities since retirement and ended with his 70th birthday. This slideshow is a very shortened version of the original show.
